Job description

GEICO Burbank is looking for a highly motivated insurance sales agent who is ready to take their insurance career to the next level. Join a select team of agents in the brand new GEICO location and be ready for SUCCESS!
As an insurance sales agent, you will be challenged to quickly build rapport with customers in a fast-paced and exciting environment. The ideal candidate for this position will be more than comfortable making dozens of phone calls per day, multi-tasking, and closing sales while maintaining a positive and upbeat attitude. We offer a base salary with opportunities to earn $45,000-$80,000 annually.
Responsibilities:
· Spend majority of day calling potential clients and handling inbound calls
· Present and sell insurance policies to new and existing clients- including auto, home, cycle and renter’s
· Service existing client inquiries and identify cross-selling opportunities
· Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
· Be able to attain sales goals by deadlines
· Comply with insurance standards and regulations
· Utilize professional phone etiquette at all times
Qualifications:
· Previous experience in sales, customer service or other related fields
· Driven desire to work in sales, solve challenges while maintaining a positive attitude
· Ability to build rapport with clients
· Strong computer skills/ability to adapt and learn programs quickly
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Detail oriented
· Ability to prioritize and multi-task
· Punctual and dependable
· Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume call environment
· Pleasant telephone manner
· Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, but not required)
· California Property and Casualty License or Personal Lines License (or nearing completion)
