Job description

Looking for a positive, self-motivated individual to join our agency. The ideal candidate should be licensed to sell property and casualty insurance. This position will interact with customers to provide information in response to inquiries about products and services and to handle and resolve customer requests. This position will assist agency personnel with daily duties in the insurance agency.

Primary Duties:

  • Answer phone
  • Service existing clients with optimal customer service & professionalism
  • Explain insurance coverage to clients and answer general insurance questions
  • Process endorsements and requests for evidence of insurance
  • Review and resolve carrier daily reports and memos
  • Send new business welcome emails and accurately file (electronically) responses
  • Follow-up on cancellations and expiration notices
  • Review and report on agency tasks

Qualifications

  • Property and casualty insurance license required
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • 1-year experience in customer service or related field
