Our Client:
Our client is a leading manufacturer in the building envelope industry, recognized for delivering innovative, high-performance solutions for the residential construction. Their division continues to experience significant growth, and they are looking to add a Sales Representative to help drive market expansion throughout Southern California.
The Role:
This is a true hunter role for someone who enjoys opening doors, developing new business, and building long-term relationships. You'll be responsible for growing market share by working directly with contractors, builders and distribution partners across Southern California.
Working closely with the Technical Services Representative, you'll focus on the sale side of the business while leveraging their technical expertise to deliver complete customer solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Prospecting and developing new business opportunities throughout the territory.
  • Building strong relationships with contractors, builders and distribution partners.
  • Identifying project opportunities and creating demand for the company's product solutions.
  • Developing and executing a territory growth strategy while managing your sales pipeline.
  • Working collaboratively with the Technical Service Representative to support customers from specification through project completion.
  • Consistently meeting and exceeding sales objectives.
This is a highly autonomous, field-based position for someone who enjoys being in front of customers and making an impact.
The Candidate
We're looking for an energetic, relationship-driven sales professional with a hunter mentality. You enjoy building a territory from the ground up, creating opportunities, and earning the trust of your customers. You're comfortable spending your time on jobsites, visiting contractors and builders, and developing long-term business partnerships.
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • Proven outside sales experience within building materials, construction, insulation, roofing or the building envelope industry.
  • A demonstrated ability to develop new business while growing existing accounts.
  • Experience calling on contractors, builders and distribution partners.
  • Strong communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • A self-motivated, entrepreneurial approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout Southern California.
