Safety gear is essential, as the materials can be hazardous if not handled correctly.

What does an insulation installer do?

As an insulation installer, you place insulation in a building to assist with climate control. Your duties include installing insulative materials above the ceiling, below the floor, and in between the wall and the building’s exterior. Your responsibilities as an insulation installer may also include insulating pipes and ductwork. Entry-level workers who use mechanical equipment for insulation installation learn job skills during an apprenticeship.
