Job description

Build a Career, Not Just Another Job

Texas Glass Associates is a growing commercial glazing contractor specializing in aluminum

storefront systems, commercial entrances, insulated glass, and architectural glazing throughout

Central Texas.

Whether you're an experienced commercial glazier or someone looking to begin a career in the

construction trades, we'd like to talk with you. We are looking for dependable, hardworking

individuals who take pride in producing quality work and are committed to learning and growing

with our company.

What You'll Do

As a Commercial Glazier, you'll work as part of a four-person installation team installing and

servicing commercial glazing systems, including:

• Aluminum storefront systems

• Commercial entrance doors and hardware

• Curtain wall systems

• Insulated glass units

• Glass replacement

• Door hardware and adjustments

• Glass railings and specialty glass systems

• Limited residential glass projects as needed

For applicants with little or no glazing experience, we provide hands-on training from

experienced installers. You'll learn every aspect of commercial storefront fabrication and

installation while working alongside seasoned professionals.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Dependable and punctual

• Positive attitude with a willingness to learn

• Strong work ethic

• Reliable transportation

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure or willingness to learn

• Ability to lift 75 pounds safely with assistance when required

• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to work from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts• Ability to pass a background check and maintain a professional appearance on customer

job sites

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial glazing experience

• Construction experience

• Experience reading blueprints or shop drawings

• Experience with hand and power tools

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification

• Forklift or aerial lift certification

Work Schedule

• Full-Time

• Monday through Friday

• 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

• Average 40-hour work week

• Overtime available as workload requires

• Occasional paid overnight travel within Texas

Compensation

Compensation is based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
