Job description

Fort Worth, TX: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking an experienced Instrument Fitter for a large-scale data center construction project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on instrumentation experience and a current NCCER Instrumentation certification.

Essential Duties:

• Install, fit, and assemble instrumentation tubing and components for data center systems.
• Read and interpret P&IDs, instrument diagrams, isometric drawings, and project specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, and install tubing using appropriate tools and equipment.
• Install instrument tubing, fittings, valves, manifolds, and related components.
• Complete tubing runs and connections according to project specifications.
• Inspect installations for proper fit, alignment, and workmanship.
• Coordinate with electricians, pipefitters, and other trades to complete work efficiently.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Follow all project, OSHA, and FTS safety requirements.

Requirements/Skills:

• Current NCCER Instrumentation certification REQUIRED.
• Previous experience as an Instrument Fitter in industrial, commercial, data center, or similar construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, drawings, and instrumentation diagrams.
• Hands-on experience with instrument tubing, fittings, valves, and manifolds.
• Ability to accurately measure, cut, bend, and install tubing.
• Comfortable working on a large-scale construction project.
• Must be able to provide required PPE and follow all site safety requirements.
• Must be able to pass a required background check and drug screening.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work at heights and in various construction jobsite conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various positions for extended periods.
• Ability to safely handle tools, tubing, fittings, and instrumentation components.
• Ability to follow all required jobsite safety procedures and PPE requirements.
