Job Title: Lead Pilates Instructor (30+ Hours/Week)

We offer dynamic Pilates classes rooted in the Club Pilates method, and we’re seeking a professional, motivated Lead Pilates Instructor to help lead our team and elevate our client experience at the Waco and West Temple Studios.


About the Role

The Lead Pilates Instructor is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and engaging group classes and for ensuring that instructional quality across the studio meets Club Pilates standards. This is a hybrid role: 20+ hours of teaching and 10+ hours of leadership and administrative responsibilities per week. You’ll mentor other instructors, support studio operations, and be a driving force in maintaining a high-quality, community-focused atmosphere.


Key Responsibilities

Teaching (20+ hrs/week):

  • Lead Club Pilates classes, including group reformer, intro classes, and private sessions at both the Waco and West Temple Studios

  • Teach a minimum of 1 intro class per week

  • Provide safe, effective instruction aligned with the Club Pilates method

  • Offer modifications and progressions to suit various fitness levels

  • Ensure equipment safety and tidiness before and after class

Leadership & Admin (10+ hrs/week):

  • Mentor and support instructors through feedback and guidance

  • Conduct class audits and performance reviews

  • Train team members on topics from monthly Lead Instructor calls

  • Manage the instructor schedule and sub requests

  • Ensure class formats, levels, and instructors meet client and business needs

  • Support brand consistency on social media and marketing efforts

  • Organize and execute member workshops and team trainings

  • Participate in community and networking events

  • Stay current with Club Pilates education and implement updates

  • Routine Equipment Maintenance and Repair


Qualifications
  • 500+ hour comprehensive Pilates certification (Reformer, Mat, Chair, Springboard)

  • 2+ years of group Pilates instruction

  • Strong understanding of and alignment with Club Pilates methodology

  • Willingness to learn and teach TRX, Barre, and TriggerPoint

  • CPR & First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Team player with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset

  • Ability to receive and give constructive feedback

  • Proficient in (or able to learn) ClubReady

  • Professional, punctual, reliable, and organized

  • Comfortable leading both clients and fellow instructors
