Zumba Instructor Responsibilities:

  • The Zumba  Instructor is responsible for instructing  group Zumba classes that exceed member expectations and provide a positive group fitness experience.
  • Deliver the ultimate fitness experience to every participant every time
  • Teach quality group Zumba exercise class programs with industry standards
  • Enthusiastic about Zumba group exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh and innovative routines.
  • The class will be taught once a week starting at 5:30 p.m. and ending at 6:30 p.m..  
  • Zumba instructor is responsible for bring own music and speaker

Zumba Instructor Qualifications/Skills:

  • Current Zumba Certificate and a General Group Exercise Certification
  • Must have at a minimum 2 years of teaching Zumba in a group facility setting
  • Excellent oral communication skills, professionalism and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead students for a maximum of 1 hour at a time
  • Class must start promptly on time
  • Zumba instructor will provide their own music and must be of quality sound 
  • You will teach the Zumba class from a space provided by the community center
  • You must be committed to teaching the class and arriving on time because this is a 3 month contract
  • Should be familiar with Mindbody application but not required
