Key Instructional Aide Duties & Responsibilities
Instructional Support:
Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning materials and skills introduced by certified staff.
Provide one-on-one support for students with special needs or learning accommodations.
Guide students through classroom assignments, homework, and projects.
Classroom Management & Supervision:
Monitor and control student behavior in classrooms.
Implement classroom management strategies and rules established by the teacher
Operate office equipment (e.g., copiers, scanners, computers).
Provide emotional support, encouragement, and guidance to students.
Report student progress, behavioral, or academic concerns to teachers.
Other Duties:
Support substitute teachers in the absence of regular staff.
