What We Are Looking For

Dandy is looking for an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer to design and develop innovative learning solutions, including web-based training, software simulations, instructor-led sessions and experiential learning. Youโ€™ll use your instructional design and project management skills to create learning experiences that will reach a global team at Dandy. You will support both Dandy manufacturing teams as we grow the business and make the process repeatable and predictable.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Adhere to best in class instructional design processes informed by adult learning theory that produce engaging, high-quality materials
  • Conduct needs analyses of projects, audiences, learning objectives, and business goals
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design highly engaging and effective learning experiences
  • Work cross-functionally to project manage the end-to-end execution of multiple training initiatives simultaneously
  • Create engaging learning activities and compelling course content that enhances retention and transfer
  • Write and create engaging and exciting interactive eLearning modules and instructor-led courses
  • Assist in instructor-led training sessions, webinar facilitation, and video production for new product/solution launches
  • Curate content into meaningful learning paths
  • Monitor and drive engagement of our learning management system
  • Maintain current course materials in the LMS
  • Provide reporting and analysis on engagement and performance
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practices and methods
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, interviews, etc.)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learnerโ€™s performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Implement improvements in training curriculum and courseware using standard testing methods, needs analysis, and redesigning training programs
What Weโ€™re Looking for
  • 3+ years of experience in developing eLearning content, instructional design, and curriculum development
  • A high energy self-starter who works well in fast-paced environments with ability to manage multiple projects and drive them to a successful outcome while communicating issue/status to appropriate stakeholders
  • Demonstrated history of successfully working with SMEs and stakeholders to translate audience needs into effective training products
  • Ability to manage stakeholdersโ€™ expectations and communicate / organize project updates appropriately
  • Strong ability to write clear, concise documentation, and narration with an exceptional attention to detail
  • A highly organized autonomous innovator with top-notch project management, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to move quickly and pivot frequently
  • Experienced with Instructional Design and Rapid e-Learning Design methodologies, in order to help shape scripts and handle Instructional Design questions
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning theories, assessment and evaluation methods and industry best practices in facilitation, training, and blended learning solutions
  • Aptitude with aspects of course design, including animations, shapes, and image effects
  • Experience with one or more e-learning software tools (e. g. Storyline, Captivate)
