Job description

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Warehouse Delivery Driver to join our growing team! In this role, you will perform various warehouse functions as well as delivering, receiving, storing, and distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare truck for operation by assisting in and overseeing the loading of trucks, securing of items and verifying the accuracy of shipping papers.
  • Inspect truck tires, lights, brakes, fluids, etc. to ensure safe and cost-effective performance with preventive maintenance in mind.
  • Deliver orders via the most effective route to ensure complete orders are delivered according to established time frames and customers' needs.
  • Maintain communication with company during deliveries to ensure any updated instructions are received.
  • Document delivery, accuracy and receipt of orders by the customer according to company directives and report any discrepancies to company.
  • Able to read a map, operate GPS system and accurately plan a route.
  • Load and unload incoming/outgoing trucks.
  • Pull orders/transfers and have them ready to ship on pallets or boxes.
  • Ensure each shipment is labeled correctly for proper delivery.
  • Check-in inventory as it arrives on-site.
  • Ensure the purchase order matches the vendor packing slips.
  • Receive purchase orders into the P21 system.
  • Maintain inventory of assembled hoses in stock for future customer orders.
  • Keep warehouse clean at all times.
  • Assist Inside Sales Representative with order entry and sales quotes as needed.
  • Wear the proper PPE at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the Operations/Inside Sales Manager and/or Outside Sales Representative.
  • Maintain valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Maintain any other certifications, registrations as needed (TWIC Card)
  • Maintain chauffer's license.
