Our direct client is seeking a Healthcare Technical Writer in their Baton Rouge, LA location. This is a 6+ month contract opportunity with possible extensions.

The candidate must have minimum 7+ years of experience in Healthcare as a Technical Writer working with Networx, Power BI and Facets (current release 25.2 or newest). This person will assist in development of materials for impact reporting, process documentation and training. Experience working with Release team within the Business Engineering unit is required.

Please note that Healthcare Industry Experience is a MUST for this role.

The client will hire over a Video Interview and will be a 100% Remote role

Job Profile Summary

This position's purpose is to enable and enhance communication between technical and non-technical workers. Additionally, this position will ensure accurate, complete, and effective documentation of manual and automated system specifications necessary for development, training, quality and regulatory control, and ongoing maintenance. This position is accountable for complying with all laws and regulations that are associated with assigned duties and responsibilities.

Education

  • Bachelors degree in Communications, Information Technology (IT), Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
  • Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.

Work Experience

  • 2 years of technical writing experience, including experience with documenting software and systems, release notes, user guides, policies and procedures, training documentation and simulations, and/or content projects; additionally, the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders on these projects

Please note that this person will assist in development of materials for impact reporting, process documentation and training. Will need to have experience working with Release team within the Business Engineering unit.
