Business Segment Overview - Institutional: Immerse yourself in the best-in-class institutional-grade technology, working alongside industry experts and gaining exposure to various asset classes, such as equities, options, fixed income securities, and advanced trading, research, and management technology. 

Position Purpose: The Vice President, Prime Brokerage will primarily support the trading desk and deliver hightouch client service to institutional prime brokerage clients. The role focuses on daytoday trading support, execution assistance, and proactive client coverage, ensuring a seamless client experience across trading and operational touchpoints.

Responsibilities

Primary duties will include:

  • Provide direct support to traders on the desk, including execution assistance, trade lifecycle support, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for prime brokerage clients, delivering timely and responsive client service.
  • Assist with trading/execution across asset classes in an agency capacity.
  • Support client onboarding activities as needed, including platform setup, demonstrations, and ongoing usage support.
  • Allocate executions, monitor trade files, and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
  • Monitor client intraday profit and loss in partnership with the trading desk to help manage firm risk.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, client service, securities lending, sales, and onboarding teams to ensure consistent and highquality client experience.
  • Proactively communicate with existing and prospective clients regarding trading activity, platform functionality, and service needs.
  • Identify, escalate, and help resolve trading or operational issues promptly.

Qualifications

To land this role you will need:

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred, supporting trading desks and institutional clients.
  • Experience with securitiesbased swaps a plus.
  • Strong understanding of trading workflows and prime brokerage operations.
  • Knowledge of cash equities and electronic execution; multiasset experience preferred.
  • Series 7, 57, 63, and 3 required (or to be obtained within three months of employment).

Hiring Salary Range $90,000 - $120,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity and alignment with market data.)  Subject to business performance and recommendations of management, this role may be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.  This compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
