What You Can Expect To Do
As a Veterinary Financial Representative, you'll be responsible for overseeing all financial operations related to client accounts. This role requires strong communication skills to ensure clarity in financial matters and exceptional client service, contributing to a smooth and efficient billing process.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring smooth and accurate financial operations for our clients.
Responsibilities include:
  • Reviewing invoices for services provided
  • Processing payments and refunds
  • Maintaining precise financial records that meet company and legal standards
  • Coordinating with pet insurance companies for claims submissions and reimbursement tracking
  • Preparing financial reports
  • Helping clients understand payment options, including third-party financing such as CareCredit
  • Partnering with the veterinary team to ensure seamless communication around client accounts
  • Providing exceptional customer service by addressing billing questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion

Your attention to detail and commitment to accuracy will help clients feel informed and supported every step of the way.
What You Have
  • Proven experience in financial coordination, medical billing, or veterinary billing (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first approach
  • Proficiency in financial management systems, practice management software, and general office technology
    • Experience with Excel, Instinct, and Xero is a plus
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
  • A passion for animals and the veterinary field
  • Ability to work four 10-hour shifts per week; some weekends may be required
