Cable Installation Technician (Entry-Level)

Support the installation and maintenance of structured cabling systems in a commercial environment. Responsibilities include pulling, dressing, labeling, and terminating Cat5e/Cat6 cabling, assisting with RJ45 and patch panel terminations, performing basic cable testing, and supporting fiber optic cable handling under the guidance of lead technicians. Maintain compliance with TIA/EIA standards, follow all safety procedures, and ensure a clean and organized work area.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday, 1st or 2nd Shift (Overtime Available)

Required Skills:

• Cat5e/Cat6 cabling installation
• Structured cabling
• Cable pulling and dressing
• Cable labeling and identification
• Basic cable testing
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn telecommunications infrastructure systems

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Albany, OH.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
