Job description

Position Summary:
The Installer Helper assists the installation team with the delivery, preparation, handling, and installation of products at job sites. This role supports installers by preparing materials, maintaining tools and equipment, ensuring a safe work environment, and helping complete installations efficiently and to company quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist installers with the installation of products at residential, commercial, and construction sites.
  • Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment safely.
  • Prepare job sites and work areas before installation begins.
  • Hold, position, and secure materials during installation.
  • Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting materials as directed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work vehicles, tools, and job sites.
  • Remove debris and dispose of waste materials appropriately.
  • Follow company safety policies and site-specific safety requirements.
  • Report any material shortages, damages, or installation issues to the Lead Installer.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support installation operations.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
  • Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or installation is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Reliable, punctual, and dependable.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (23 kg) regularly.
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and perform physical work for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
