Eventscape is seeking a proactive Installation Manager to lead our Install department and our projects on the front lines during the crucial final stage—installation. 
In this critical role, the Manager will lead in all domains of the Installation department through effective planning, organization, and leadership.This position will be responsible for the tactical operations of the department in addition to strategic planning and management of Eventscape’s installations. A high degree of initiative and leadership is expected in this role.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Manager, Installation you will:
 

  • Set the tone and pace of the department by fostering the cooperation and commitment of all department personnel
  • Manage, train, and mentor department personnel, ensuring alignment with  maintain regular communication with department and stakeholders 
  • Support our in-house fabrication teams when not on site, providing valuable installation insights.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and specifications, assessing project requirements, and ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations.
  • Maintain no-restriction travel status for frequent local and international travel.
  • Strategically plan for installations while enforcing strict attention to quality, schedule, and budget.
  • Ensure resources are available, manage forecast projections
  • Monitor project budgets and spending; identify and mitigate obstacles affecting budget or timelines
  • Be actively involved in project hand-off meetings
  • Support Installation Site Foremen with planning and mapping out project installation strategies
  • Perform routine reports on KPIs followed with analysis and change recommendations where necessary
  • Act as consult for cross-functional teams providing guidance on installation strategies and methods
  • Travel locally and internationally for site visits, site surveys, site inspections, client meetings
  • Lead by example and champion for health & safety and an accident/injury-free workplace/site
  • Enforce all safety rules and regulations outlined by local government authorities and in the Company’s Health & Safety program

ABOUT YOU
We're looking for someone with:
  • 10+ years site management experience in demanding construction environments.
  • A wealth of construction expertise, with proven ability to supervise union and non-union subcontractors in construction.
  • Proven track record of leading highly skilled teams 
  • Proficiency with construction tracking software.
  • A strong understanding of building codes and a meticulous approach to safety regulations.
  • Familiarity with common construction tools and equipment.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • A relevant degree (e.g., Construction Management, Construction Science, Civil Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a knack for strategic planning.
  • A valid driver's license and spotless driving record.
  • Experience in client-facing roles and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on fabrication experience (e.g., finish carpentry, metal fabrication, etc.).
  • Commitment to project success, including a readiness for frequent domestic and international travel.
