Installation Coordinator

About the Job

Cityside Fiber is seeking a detail-oriented Installation Coordinator to join our Service Delivery team. This role is responsible for scheduling fiber installation appointments, managing dispatch coordination, and ensuring installation readiness across our service area. Success in this position requires strong organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule installation appointments based on technician availability and routing efficiency
  • Contact customers to confirm installation appointments prior to scheduled service windows
  • Conduct outbound appointment reminders via phone, SMS, or email
  • Coordinate rescheduling as needed to maintain technician productivity
  • Assist with daily dispatch coordination and technician schedule management
  • Monitor installation schedules and adjust assignments in real time
  • Optimize routing and scheduling to maximize technician productivity
  • Ensure installation orders are complete and ready for dispatch
  • Verify drop completion and installation prerequisites when necessary
  • Identify scheduling conflicts or readiness issues prior to technician dispatch
  • Provide installation expectations and preparation instructions to customers
  • Assist customers with appointment changes or rescheduling requests
  • Communicate schedule updates when installation timing changes
  • Monitor installation orders from scheduling through completion
  • Support installation close-out and system updates
  • Escalate issues impacting installation completion to the Supervisor, Service Delivery
  • Contribute to a culture of trust, integrity, and collaboration
