POSITION SUMMARY


We are seeking an experienced Retail Installation Coordinator / Manager to oversee and coordinate field installation and merchandising teams completing projects at major national retail locations, including Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Target, and similar retailers.


This position is responsible for coordinating technicians, assigning locations and work, monitoring project progress, communicating with field personnel, resolving issues, and ensuring installations are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.


The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple technicians and locations simultaneously, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Coordinate daily activities for traveling retail installation and merchandising technicians.

Assign technicians to specific stores, projects, and installation tasks.

Communicate project schedules, instructions, locations, and expectations to field personnel.

Monitor technician attendance, arrival times, progress, and project completion.

Serve as the primary point of contact for field technicians during active projects.

Track project status across multiple retail locations.

Coordinate travel, scheduling, lodging, and other logistics as needed.

Monitor installation quality and ensure work is completed according to project specifications.

Review photographs and completion documentation submitted by technicians.

Follow up on incomplete, incorrect, or missed work.

Troubleshoot field issues and coordinate solutions quickly.

Communicate project changes and updates to technicians in the field.

Escalate major issues, delays, safety concerns, or customer-related issues to management.

Maintain accurate project records, technician assignments, and completion reports.

FIELD TEAM MANAGEMENT

Build technician schedules and store assignments.

Coordinate last-minute schedule changes and technician replacements.

Ensure all required photos, reports, and completion documentation are submitted.

Provide management with regular project status updates.

QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of experience in retail merchandising, field services, installation, construction, project coordination, or a related field.

Previous experience coordinating field technicians or traveling teams preferred.

Strong organizational and communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and locations simultaneously.
