About this role:
The HVAC Install Manager oversees our HVAC Technicians and Installers and is responsible for the growth of the business sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Resolves customer issues and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluates workload and schedules service work in a way that best utilizes manpower and maximizes profits.
  • Ability to create and manage budgets.
  • Ensures that materials and equipment are ordered and dispensed for scheduled jobs.
  • Schedules repairs for parts to ensure minimal down-time in job completion.
  • Conducts research and participates in the marketing process of the department.
  • Generates reports and reviews reports with management.
  • measures of departmental operations as well as records on all inventory, tools, and vehicles.
  • Instructs crews on the proper use of materials and quality workmanship.
  • Reviews payroll records to ensure that technicians are paid properly.
  • Ensures that employees have proper tools for the job and that they are properly maintained.
  • Assists the dispatching operation to ensure appropriate technician selection for the type of service.
  • Evaluates staff to determine training requirements.
  • Provides on-the-job training and support to employees.
  • Manages and develops our Service staff, which may include some or all of the following: hiring, terminating, and disciplining of employees, scheduling employees, setting work priorities, conducting staff meetings, counseling employees, evaluating performance, and directing work assignments to ensure effective production.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of industry experience in HVAC service 2+ years of HVAC Management experience
  • Working knowledge of gas piping, electricity, plumbing, and airflow
  • Strong supervisory, communications, computer, and mathematical skills
  • Great Attitude with a dedication to quality work
  • Customer service oriented
  • A valid driver's license is required

The physical requirements of this job include:
  • Lifting 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally
  • Climbing ladders, accessing attics, navigating tight spaces, driving, entering crawlspaces, pushing, carrying, pulling, using hand tools, and performing fine detail work.
  • Ability to drive.
  • Working in various environments, including indoor and outdoor settings, attics, crawlspaces.
  • Ability to stand, walk and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone.
  • Use hands to handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms.
  • Regularly stoop, kneel, bend, and crouch.
  • The work requires regular exposure to extreme temperatures both indoors and outdoors, such as heat or cold, and adverse weather conditions such as wind, rain, ice or snow.
