MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Electronic Systems Installer Helper located in Mobile, AL. Our client is a Building Automation industry leader looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability

 

Role Summary / Overview

An Electronic Systems Installer Helper assists technicians who install and maintain low-voltage electronic systems such as security alarms, access control systems, surveillance cameras, fire alarms, and communication systems. This is typically an entry-level or junior technician role where the person supports senior installers in field work.

Responsibilities

Assist technicians with installation of security systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and access control systems

Pull and route low-voltage wiring and cables

Mount cameras, sensors, control panels, and electronic equipment

Support troubleshooting and testing of installed systems

Maintain tools, materials, and job site organization

Follow safety standards and installation procedures

Assist with documentation and reporting of completed work

Required

Basic knowledge of electrical or low-voltage systems

Ability to use hand tools, drills, and testing equipment

Understanding of wiring diagrams and installation instructions

Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work on job sites

Good teamwork and communication skills

Willingness to learn from senior technicians

Preferred Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Technical training in electronics, electrical systems, or networking

Experience with CCTV, alarm systems, or access control (even basic)

Valid driver's license
