What to Expect in This Role:
You'll be responsible for reviewing CCTV inspection videos of underground infrastructure, identifying defects, and accurately documenting findings. Clear communication with both our operations team and customers is key. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to focus while working at a computer for extended periods. If you're someone who takes pride in precision and enjoys behind-the-scenes problem-solving, this is the role for you.

Essential Functions:

  • Review CCTV inspection videos and documentation for compliance with project specifications and industry standards (e.g., NASSCO PACP).
  • Verify data accuracy including pipe attributes (length, diameter, material, direction, etc.).
  • Identify and classify structural, service, and operational defects within sewer and stormwater pipelines.
  • Communicate discrepancies or deficiencies to field crews and coordinate re-inspections when necessary.
  • Utilize inspection software such as WinCan, GraniteNet, or POSM to analyze, edit, and report on video submissions.
  • Maintain organized records of inspection reviews, non-conformance reports, and approvals.
  • Ensure all work meets client and regulatory agency requirements.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of experience in sewer/storm CCTV inspection or construction QA/QC preferred (entry-level candidates with strong attention to detail will be considered).
  • Familiarity with NASSCO PACP codes and standards is a strong plus.
  • Experience using CCTV inspection software (WinCan, POSM, GraniteNet) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to interpret construction drawings and GIS data.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
