Job description

Position: Electronic Rework & Test Technician
Shift: First, 7a to 3p, Monday to Friday
Pay: Up to $20/ph (based on experience)
Location: Solon, Ohio

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Rework & Test Technician to join our electronics manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and rework printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic assemblies to ensure products meet quality and customer specifications. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with electronics experience or individuals looking to grow their skills in electronic manufacturing.

Responsibilities
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, work instructions, bills of material, and customer documentation
• Use precision measuring and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, ohmmeters, and calipers
• Identify defects and determine appropriate corrective actions
• Perform soldering, rework, and component replacement on electronic assemblies
• Document inspection results, repairs, and nonconforming materials
• Verify products meet quality and customer specifications
• Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated before use
• Work with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve product issues
• Follow all quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures

Qualifications
• Previous electronics manufacturing, testing, troubleshooting, or repair experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Experience using electronic test equipment and precision measuring tools is a plus
• Soldering and electronic component rework experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Education & Experience
• Associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field preferred, or equivalent experience
• Experience working in an electronics manufacturing environment is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with ISO quality standards is beneficial but not required
