Work EnvironmentLaboratories, testing facilities, manufacturing plantsManufacturing sites, warehouses, production lines
Industry UsageUsed across manufacturing, aerospace, automotive sectorsCommon in manufacturing, construction, and industrial sectors

Inspect Test professionals focus on performing specific tests to verify product quality and compliance, often requiring technical testing certifications. Job description

Falcon Electric has been engineering high-reliability UPS and power conversion systems for over 35 years. Our products are built to last 12+ years, private-labeled for some of the world's leading UPS brands, and trusted in military-grade applications. In an industry full of disposable products, we're the alternative.

We're a small, high-performing team where every role has direct impact on the business. The people who work here don't wait for direction — they see what needs to move and they move it.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an entry to mid-level electronics/electrical technician (mid-level preferred) to provide support for engineering and manufacturing efforts in assembly, inspection, and testing of our power products. This is an entry to mid-level position with new opportunities to learn military applications, test procedures, and in-process inspections. Candidates will perform testing, troubleshooting, modification, and assembly of moderately complex industrial and military grade UPS systems.

What You'll Do

Build, Inspect & Test UPS Systems

  • Read and comprehend schematic diagrams, test procedures, and manufacturing drawings to properly build, modify, inspect, repair, and test a UPS system
  • Operate test equipment including power meters, oscilloscope, variable AC/DC power supplies, and digital multi-meters
  • Solder and de-solder electronic components to a proficient standard

Support Troubleshooting & Repair

  • Assist the service team with troubleshooting and repair of digital/analog circuits to the component level
  • Utilize instrumentation to perform full specification test and data collection for reporting

Maintain Reporting Standards

  • Use Windows OS / Microsoft Office Suite proficiently to generate accurate reports
  • Ensure specification-controlled test data, assembly/testing pass-fail rates, and technical inspections meet conformance standards

What You Bring

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relative work experience in the electronics/electrical field in a laboratory environment with high voltage power sources and test equipment

Education

  • Associates, trade, or vocational program completion with 3–5 years relevant experience as a technician; equivalent combination of education and hands-on industry experience is welcome

Skills & Attributes

  • Quality-first attitude
  • Detail-oriented
  • Highly organized
  • First-principles, results-driven approach

Why Falcon

  • Direct, hands-on impact on product reliability — your inspections and test data show up in every unit that leaves the floor
  • Unmatched access to engineering and manufacturing expertise on long-lifecycle, military-grade power systems
  • Falcon is willing to train the right candidate who wants to grow within the field — a real path forward as you build your skills

Falcon Electric is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
