Job description

Job Title: Engineer (Various Disciplines)
Location: ACP, Piketon, OH
Company: InSolves
Clearance: DOE L or Q Clearance Required, Q Clearance Preferred

Position Overview

InSolves is seeking experienced Engineers across various disciplines to support projects at the American Centrifuge Plant (ACP) site in Piketon, Ohio. Candidates with prior experience at the Piketon site and a current or previous Q security clearance are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engineering modification packages in accordance with DOE standards and site procedures
  • Perform system evaluations, design calculations, and technical analyses
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and design documentation
  • Support configuration management and change control processes
  • Interface with project managers, field personnel, safety professionals, and DOE representatives
  • Ensure compliance with DOE orders, regulatory requirements, and site-specific safety protocols
  • Participate in walkdowns, design reviews, and readiness assessments

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited institution
  • Demonstrated experience supporting engineering modifications in industrial or nuclear environments
  • Experience with the engineering modification process at the ACP site
  • Strong knowledge of configuration control and design change processes
  • Ability to obtain and maintain site access
  • Active or previously held DOE L or Q Clearance, Q Clearance preferred
  • Familiarity with DOE Orders, nuclear safety documentation, and conduct of engineering requirements
