Insider Risk - Senior Technical Investigator

About the role:

This position is a senior investigative role for the Global Insider Risk Program. This position is responsible for conducting cyber investigations, derived from technical collection and analysis, as well through relationships from key program stakeholders. A successful candidate should have a strong background in technical investigations, as well as an ability to operate independently with little oversight.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert level insight into the Insider Risk program to assist with Investigative initiatives.

  • Conduct internal investigations, based on automated as well as stakeholder generated leads.

  • Conduct interviews, document findings, prepare reporting for program stakeholders.

  • Assist in developing use cases for case management, as well as insights into configurations for existing InfoSec tooling.

  • Review sources of intelligence as it pertains to internal security.

  • Assist with new and novel methods to identify, investigate, and respond to threats posed by insiders.

  • Position is full remote

Responsibilities:

  • 5 -10 Years prior experience in Federal Law Enforcement / Counterintelligence with an emphasis on Technical Investigations, processing, and documenting findings from technical sources.

  • 3+ Years working Insider Threat/Risk Investigative role.

  • Experience working with; commercial case management systems, SIEM's, as well as various security tools.

  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

  • Prioritize and execute with minimal direction.

  • Interest in learning new technologies and interfacing with vendors.

This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Estimated compensation for this position:

204,000.00 - 246,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
