Inside Sales Representative

Havtech Supply is looking for a Inside Sales Representative to deliver high-level customer support. This position is responsible for processing customer quotes and orders, answering technical questions about our product, suggestively selling, upselling, or cross-selling product, and providing exceptional customer service regarding all Commercial Distribution services and products to ensure customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for sales, inventory, purchasing, pricing, and warranty administration.

This position is an excellent fit for a candidate with a strong customer service background who is passionate about working as a team to provide exceptional customer service. 

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identifies and processes customer orders and responds to customers’ inquiries and questions for HVAC parts, equipment, and supplies via e-mail, text, phone, and over the counter.
  • Maintains knowledge of HVAC products, offerings, and promotions to ensure customer confidence and continued desire to partner with Havtech Commercial Distribution over our competition. 
  • Strives to execute sales with high accuracy to expedite the fulfillment process and ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Able to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to resolve potential customer problems and company adherence to policies.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of an emergency on-call service rotation.
  • Assists with warehouse work as needed: cycle counts, shipping & receiving, material stocking, and inventory control. 

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

 QUALIFICATIONS include the following.

  • A unique combination of education, experience, or demonstrated accomplishments is required. GED or High School Diploma required. (Combination of bachelor’s degree, two years of inside technical sales or related technical or parts sales experience.)
  • HVAC Industry experience is strongly preferred
  • Proven track record with inside sales and superior customer service skills, particularly in managing challenging customers and their concerns.
  • Strong sales skills with an understanding of a well-developed sales process. Ability to listen, gain trust and find the best solutions for our customers.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and a team-player attitude. 
  • Must be action-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and tasks simultaneously and effectively.
  • Must have strong computer skills/competency.
