The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for an assigned territory of prospective ACES clients, conducting remote sales development activities to promote products and services and achieve assigned sales targets. Working with occasional direction from the inside sales manager and business development directors, this role reaches out to prospects via phone, email, LinkedIn, and virtual meetings, and coordinates with business development directors to understand client needs, and generate interest in viewing a demonstration of the ACES Quality Control platform. The inside sales rep will coordinate efforts with marketing to scrub and target contact lists of banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, servicers, and financial institutions.


Essential Functions / Responsibilities

  • Manages an assigned group of prospective ACES clients, serving as a remote sales development point of contact under direction from the Inside Sales Manager.
  • Develops target lists of banks, credit unions, mortgage lenders, and servicers and utilizes the Salesforce database to track prospecting efforts.
  • Coordinates with Marketing to develop email campaigns and follow up from conferences, webinars, and other marketing activity to generate interest in a demo of ACES.
  • Coordinates with business development directors to understand each customer’s unique needs and potential sales opportunities, aligning outreach activities accordingly.
  • Speaks with quality control, risk, and lending executives at banks and uncovers the need for ACES Quality Control solutions and sparks the need to view a demo of the product.
  • Develops connections with clients and prospects through consistent, professional outreach.
  • Participates in sales team efforts including campaign follow-up, webinar outreach, and tradeshow lead follow-up as directed.
  • Tracks and documents assigned territory activities, interactions, and opportunities in Salesforce CRM, maintaining accurate and current records.
  • Supports achievement of assigned sales targets for territory revenue under the guidance of the Inside Sales Manager and EVP of Sales.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Competencies

  • Occasionally directed; able to execute territory sales activities reliably and escalate questions and issues appropriately.
  • Enthusiastic and has an ability to spark interest in a conversation around ACES Quality Control.
  • Developing relationship-building skills; able to engage clients and prospects professionally and build rapport through remote outreach.
  • Ability to select and present appropriate product information for individual customers, with growing proficiency in consultative upselling conversations.
  • Good organizational and time management skills; able to manage an assigned portfolio of accounts and track activities accurately.
  • Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills; able to engage clients confidently via phone, video, and email.
  • Collaborative team contributor; able to coordinate effectively with field Sales Executives and participate in team sales efforts.
  • Self-motivated with a developing sense of urgency and accountability for territory activity and sales targets.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar platforms; proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Developing knowledge of mortgage lending, servicing, or financial services products and terminology preferred

Required Education and Experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in inside sales, account development, customer service, or a closely related role.
  • Exposure to territory or portfolio-based sales activities preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial services, Mortgage Lending, Quality Control, FinTech, or SaaS technology environments a plus.
  • Basic proficiency with Salesforce CRM or comparable CRM tools for activity tracking and pipeline management.

Travel Required

5%–10% travel. Travel may include occasional client visits and ACES-sponsored events.
