Inside Sales Representative
Lubbock, TX
Founded in 1954, C&L Supply, Inc. is a family-owned distribution company serving independent appliance and furniture dealers across a ten-state core territory with expanding reach throughout the United States. We pride ourselves on superior customer service, consultative sales support, and reliable delivery through our private fleet of trucks.
We are accepting applications for an Inside Sales Representative for our Lubbock, TX distribution center.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for supporting customers and outside sales representatives through order processing, account support, communication, and daily administrative functions. This role plays a key part in delivering excellent customer service while ensuring accurate and efficient sales operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Answer incoming customer and outside sales calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Communicate daily with customers through phone, email, and other business correspondence.
  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Accept customer payments and assist with preparing daily deposit reports.
  • Coordinate with internal departments including credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, and outside sales to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist customers with product information, order updates, and general account support.
  • Maintain organized customer records and documentation.
  • Support additional office and customer service functions as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Customer service or inside sales experience preferred.
  • Experience handling high call volumes in a fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, and Windows-based computer systems.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

SCHEDULE:
  • Full-time, hourly position
  • Monday through Friday
  • Occasional evenings and weekends may be required as business needs arise
