JOB SUMMARY:

Support revenue growth as a key member of Spindletop Energy Products' sales organization, a leading distributor of pro-grade control and emissions equipment. Learn our comprehensive product portfolio while handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing quotes. Develop foundational knowledge of FW Murphy and BMD Products to support customer needs and build relationships through phone and email interactions. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn, and dedication to customer service, setting the foundation for growth within the organization.


POSITION DETAILS:

Department: Operations

Reports To: Branch Manager

Location: Kilgore, TX

Type: Full-Time

Travel Required: 0


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

· Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with operations management

· Support order fulfillment and track shipments

· Handle inbound customer inquiries professionally

· Drive customer problem resolutions through collaboration with internal team

· Build relationships through consistent, reliable communication

· Support outside sales efforts in account maintenance, RFQs, and quote generation

· Develop comprehensive understanding of vendor product offerings and applications

· Maintain accurate documentation in ERP systems

· Communicate with internal team and vendors on all order discrepancies

· Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery


REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  Basic computer skills
  •  High School Diploma
  • No experience necessary
  • 1-2 years of inside sales in the oil and gas industry experience a plus


PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Be able to pay attention to customers’ needs and concerns.
  • Inside sales works independently, so being self-driven to meet or exceed expectations without constant supervision is a key attribute.
  • Keep track of customer information, managing sales processes and ensuing accurate data entry into our CRM.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND ABILITIES:

  • Be able to sit at a computer for hours at a time.
  • Occasionally walk to the warehouse to meet and greet customers who will call their orders or to check inventory stock.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Office is in a centrally air-conditioned space.
  • No remote work possibilities
  • Business Hours are M-F, 7:30am – 4:00pm
