Job description

Inside Sales Specialist

As an Inside Sales Specialist, you will manage and expand our client base, develop strong relationships with existing customers, and drive sales growth. The Inside Sales Manager handles direct-to-end-user projects, qualifies incoming phone calls and leads, and supports the sales team. This role will focus on capturing revenue from smaller projects and customers that the District Sales Managers do not have time to service.

Responsibilities
  • Convert quote requests to orders from one-time or direct-to-end-user customers (75% of role)
  • Qualify incoming phone calls and leads, routing them to the appropriate district sales manager (15% of role)
  • Provide support to district sales managers by completing take-offs, generating quotes, and performing other administrative tasks when they are traveling (10% of the role)
  • Conduct outbound prospecting and lead-generation activities.
Education and Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in inside sales or a related field
  • Background in the construction industry preferred
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Proficient with CRM software and other sales tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Preferred knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and industry standards is highly desirable but not required
Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to qualify incoming sales calls

Compensation

This role has a Base Salary + Commission compensation package. OTE is $180k+, and the Commission is uncapped.
