Position Title: Inside Sales Representative
Job Summary: The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and nurturing new business opportunities with medical device companies seeking outsourced manufacturing, assembly, packaging, and engineering support. This role partners closely with Business Development, Engineering, Program Management, and Operations to support revenue growth and customer acquisition.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting
  • Research and identify target medical device OEMs and emerging companies.
  • Develop outbound prospecting campaigns via phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads.
  • Schedule discovery meetings for Business Development Managers.

Opportunity Qualification
  • Assess prospects' product needs, regulatory requirements, volumes, and timelines.
  • Determine strategic fit based on company capabilities and manufacturing footprint.
  • Maintain detailed notes in CRM.

CRM Management
  • Manage opportunities and pipeline in Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar systems.
  • Track prospect activity, follow-ups, and conversion metrics.
  • Prepare pipeline reports.

Marketing Support
  • Follow up on trade show leads.
  • Support email campaigns and targeted outreach.
  • Coordinate with marketing on messaging and collateral.

RFQ Processing and Quote Development
  • Process in bound RFQs for distribution to CFT and external partners
  • Source Raw Material items from Vendor network for cost models
  • Coordinate with NPD Team to develop cost models for manufacturing processes
  • Put together quotations for presentation to customers

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with engineering and operations to understand capabilities.
  • Coordinate with business development to transition qualified opportunities.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Experience
  • 2-5 years of inside sales, business development, or lead generation experience.
  • Experience in medical device, life sciences, precision manufacturing, or regulated industries preferred.
  • Familiarity with contract manufacturing or OEM sales is highly desirable.

Skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to understand technical manufacturing concepts.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems.

Preferred Knowledge
  • ISO 13485 and FDA-regulated manufacturing.
  • Medical device product development lifecycle.
  • Contract manufacturing services such as injection molding, metals machining, assembly, sterilization, and packaging.
