Job description

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Representative to help expand our customer base and create new business opportunities within an assigned territory. This position is well suited for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and working toward measurable goals.


What You’ll Do

  • Connect with prospective customers using company-provided leads and other approved business development strategies
  • Introduce prospective customers to our products and services and determine how we can best meet their needs
  • Build rapport with new and existing customers through professional, face-to-face interactions
  • Visit businesses and prospective customers throughout an assigned territory
  • Develop new accounts and move qualified prospects through the sales process
  • Conduct sales presentations, answer questions, address objections, and work toward closing new business
  • Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects and customers
  • Work independently while remaining accountable to established sales and activity goals

Compensation

This is a commission-based position. For an entry-level employee, the good faith estimated annual total compensation range is $55,000–$70,000, including commissions and the applicable draw described below. Actual compensation will depend on individual performance, experience, territory, and other business factors, and high performers may earn above this estimated range.

Following the applicable probationary period, eligible employees will receive a $1,000 per week recoverable draw against commissions, subject to the terms of the applicable compensation plan. The draw is not additional compensation on top of earned commissions; it is an advance against future commissions and is administered in accordance with applicable law and the written compensation plan.
