As an Inside Customer Service Representative, you'll play a key role in managing large, complex customer accounts from start to finish. You'll work directly with customers by phone and email, supporting their needs from the initial bid through project completion while building strong, long-term relationships. As a member of the MAC team, you'll gain valuable industry and sales experience, work in a collaborative team environment, and develop the skills needed to become a future sales leader in the industry. Requirements

Key Responsibilities

Manage large and complex customer accounts from initial bid through project completion

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through phone and email communication

Respond to customer inquiries, pricing requests, product questions, and order needs

Prepare quotes and assist with bids, orders, and project-related documentation

Monitor orders and projects to help ensure deadlines and customer expectations are met

Coordinate with sales, purchasing, operations, and other internal teams to resolve customer needs

Proactively follow up with customers and provide updates throughout the sales process

Identify opportunities to increase sales and strengthen customer relationships

Maintain accurate customer, order, and project information

Provide a high level of customer service while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment


Job Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, account management, or a related role preferred

Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to manage multiple customer accounts, projects, and deadlines simultaneously

Comfortable communicating professionally by phone and email

Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Comfortable learning new products, systems, and industry terminology

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and the ability to learn company-specific systems

Plumbing, wholesale distribution, construction, or related industry experience is a plus, but not required
