We are looking for an experienced Inserter Operator to join our team. The Inserter Operator is responsible for the daily operations of the inserter machine. The Inserter Operator confirms completeness of the order while achieving superior product quality control for the machine.
This position is located in Oldsmar, Florida and is scheduled Monday through Friday 4 AM to 12 PM.
What You'll Do:
  • Set up and operate the inserter machine to maximize production.
  • Follow the pre-production, make ready, and production run tasks.
  • Prioritize work in efficient groups utilizing the LRSP Print Track Prioritization tool.
  • Accurately scan the start and completion of all Work Orders processed in Inserting.
  • Train others on the Inserter Machine.
  • Ensure the work area is clean and that non-conforming, over-runs and/or waste are delivered to the appropriate repository.
  • Adhere to all Personal Protective Equipment rules and procedures.
  • Meet quality control metrics.
  • Adhere to schedule requirements.
  • Notify Production Manager of machine equipment needs.
  • Perform quality control checks for all jobs.
  • Obtain necessary materials to complete assigned jobs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Follow company policies and guidelines.
  • Communicates with and assists other departments as needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in bindery or printing preferred.
  • Able to perform basic math and problem solving.
  • Able to read and use measuring devices.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to receive and follow instructions.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodation.
  • Able to stand long periods of time, stoop, crouch, kneel, crawl, climb and use hands and wrists in a controlled movement.
