Job description

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review production orders and select correct machine programs
  • Set up machines, including tooling, inserts, offsets, and material alignment
  • Operate machining equipment to produce parts within required tolerances and surface finish standards
  • Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure product quality
  • Inspect parts during and after machining and perform minor repairs as needed
  • Perform finishing activities including deburring, grinding, and buffing
  • Execute phosphating processes in accordance with procedures
  • Verify materials and parts match production requirements
  • Complete production reports accurately and on time
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Monitor quality issues and support corrective actions
  • Train helpers on basic processes and procedures
  • Follow all NOV quality, safety, and environmental policies
  • Support continuous improvement and safe work practices
  • Perform other duties as assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 3-4 years of CNC machine operator experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Working knowledge of machining tools and processes
  • Basic math skills (including geometry and algebra for machining calculations)

JOB REQUIREMENTS
