Job description

Inpro is seeking a skilled Electrician to install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems within our facilities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and code-compliant electrical operations across our buildings and equipment.
Hours: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in industrial and commercial buildings
  • Install conduit and piping to safely house electrical wiring and cables
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable electrical codes, including NEC standards
  • Install, connect, and maintain circuit breakers, panels, and related electrical hardware
  • Connect electrical systems to power sources and verify proper functionality
  • Test and inspect electrical systems to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Diagnose electrical issues and determine necessary repairs or replacements
  • Replace wiring, conduit, and circuit breakers as needed
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Required Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety practices
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, test meters, and diagnostic equipment
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of a formal electrical apprenticeship
  • Valid electrician's license required
  • Five or more years of relevant experience preferred

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to distinguish color-coded wiring
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders or scaffolding for extended periods
  • Physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduit
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
