Your Role

Reporting to the Executive Housekeeper;

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and support the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department alongside the Executive Housekeeper.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate housekeeping team members while ensuring hotel standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Conduct inspections of guestrooms and public areas to maintain high cleanliness, safety, and quality standards.
  • Support health and safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with WHMIS, WSIB, OHSA, and safe chemical and equipment handling procedures.
  • Manage departmental efficiency, scheduling, and operational priorities while assisting the team during busy periods as needed.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Previous leadership experience in housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality environment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • A positive, friendly, energetic, and self-motivated attitude with the ability to motivate and support team members.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Experience with ONQ is considered an asset.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
