The Inn at Atlantic Heights offers a choice of 64 Assisted-Living Apartments featuring companion suites, studios, one and two bedrooms, all with the comforts of home. Seal Rock Health Care is a 105 bed long term and skilled facility. Under the ownership of First Atlantic Healthcare, The Inn at Atlantic Heights follows in First Atlantic's long-standing reputations for excellence.
Position Summary:
Overall leadership, direction and responsibility for the day to day operations of this Residential Care Community and Independent Living Cooperative utilizing the Mission Statement and Values to guide all decision making. Success rests on achieving goals in four key areas, known as the Key Attributes for Success. It's important to note that the goals are interdependent and are equal in their importance one-to-the-other so while they appear in list format they are in fact equivalent and balanced in their impact on goal attainment.
In pursuit of these goals, the administrator oversees all aspects of resident life including satisfaction, health status, safety, security, and rights. To promote and ensure the highest quality care and quality of life to the residents we serve, the administrator will direct and manage the daily operations in accordance with applicable state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations as directed by the organization to assure that First Atlantic properties operate effectively and efficiently. The administrator is expected to role model behavior in keeping with our mission and values. Evidence of effective role modeling includes active participation in activities, town hall meetings and with our residential care and independent living customers in ways that demonstrate our concern for their well-being, compassion for their challenges, timely meeting of expectations and dedication to their life quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • RN or LPN Preferred
  • Organized and detailed in work performance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to demonstrate self-discipline and patience
  • Strong customer service skills with marketing and sales experience preferred
  • Experience managing independent housing cooperatives preferred
  • Genuine caring for and interest in working seniors
  • Experience with Housing and Urban Development (HUD) requirements for senior housing environments preferred
  • Comply with the Residents' Rights, State of Maine Residential Care regulations, and Facility Policies and Procedures
  • Perform work tasks within the physical demand requirements
  • Perform Essential Duties as outlined above
