Nazdar manufactures the most comprehensive selection of UV, water-based, and solvent-based screen printing inks, flexographic inks, and wide-format digital inks obtainable from a single source. Nazdar inks are primarily used by printers in the Point of Purchase (POP), Banner, Container, Industrial, Metal, Nameplate- Membrane Switch, Roll Label, Sign, and Textile decorating markets.
About The Job
This individual is responsible for generating new business and ensuring growth of existing accounts by researching and developing screen products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Maintain technical expertise in the field of screen printing, including new developments in processes and chemistry.
  • Conduct research and development of formulations, including modifications or design changes to existing products.
  • Interact with Marketing to determine project goals and perform product testing. Assist in the development of technical literature for products.
  • Conduct research for and communicate with customers regarding specific ink applications and problems.
  • Develop and optimize procedures for the manufacture and quality control of screen inks.
  • Perform job according to pre-established safety, quality, and efficiency standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with other duties as directed by supervisor and potential to travel (<10%)

Qualification and Skills
  • Background in printing industry
  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field or equivalent experience in screen ink development required.
  • 3-5 years' experience formulating UV/LED screen printing inks preferred.
  • Previous experience in printing ink applications, formulations, regulatory compliance, or technical service, preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products required.
  • Self-driven, results oriented with a clear focus on high quality results.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.
