The Injection Mold Tool Setter is responsible for all mold changes (set up and removal), as well as job clean up, required paperwork and documentation. The successful Mold Setting candidate will be able to self-directed, but at the same time work as an integral part of the team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Set and remove molds according to procedures and as production schedule dictates.
โ€ข Replace and repair parts containment
โ€ข Troubleshoot machine problems
โ€ข Load programs for robots and machines
โ€ข Maintain compliance with safety
โ€ข Keep working areas neat, clean and organized at all times
โ€ข Responsible for clean-up of all tools and equipment needed to complete the job
Qualifications:
โ€ข Ability to read and write in English
โ€ข Valid driver's license and previous forklift certification strongly preferred
โ€ข Follow instructions and safety procedures
โ€ข Must be able to communicate with others verbally and in writing
โ€ข Must be able to work with attention to detail and in an organized
โ€ข High School Diploma or GED preferred
Knowledge and Skills
โ€ข Technical and mechanical skills to set up and pull mold
โ€ข Skills to start and follow task through to completion
โ€ข Work with motivation, urgency and goal oriented
โ€ข Work with little to no supervision
โ€ข Ability to lift up to 50 LBS
โ€ข Ability to stand for long periods of time
Experience
โ€ข 2+ years Plastic Injection Molding manufacturing experience is preferred
