Job description

Job Summary:

The Injection Molding Setup Technician is responsible for setting up, changing over, and starting injection molding machines to support production needs. This role ensures molds, materials, and processes are set correctly so parts meet quality, safety, and production standards.

Shift Schedule: Sunday - Tuesday and every other Wednesday.  5:50pm - 6:00am

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mold changes and machine setups according to the production schedule
  • Install, connect, and verify water lines, air lines, hydraulics, and auxiliary equipment
  • Load and confirm correct resins, colorants, and additives per job requirements
  • Set and adjust machine parameters during startup to meet quality specifications
  • Start machines and approve parts prior to full production run
  • Troubleshoot setup and startup issues related to molds, materials, and equipment
  • Work closely with operators, quality, and maintenance to resolve production issues
  • Complete setup documentation and update process sheets as required
  • Follow all safety procedures, including lockout tagout and housekeeping standards
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and standard work practices

On-Site: This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Denver, CO location.
