Job description

A world class provider of automotive interior solutions is actively seeking a Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to add to our growing team. 4 to 5 years of Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance experience is required.

DUTIES:
The Plastic Injection Molding Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining all production equipment, support equipment and building maintenance as directed by supervisor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Complete all preventive maintenance activities assigned by supervisor.

2. Oil, grease and clean all areas as needed through work orders.

3. Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and equipment as generated by work orders.

4. Insure safety and housekeeping standards are met.

5. May be assigned out-sort work, programs, and/or training, due to upgrades of job title as assessed by management team.

6. The following documents will be the responsibility of a maintenance technician for review and/or function.

7. The following work instructions relate to the function of the forms listed above.
ยท Completion of Work Orders.

ยท Equipment Predictive Maintenance Set-up.

8. Complete additional work assigned by supervisor and/or management team.

9. Must have basic knowledge of TS16949 and know the Quality Policy.

10. Follow the safety rules, report safety problems and all injuries, regardless of severity.

11. Ensure plant safety and 5S housekeeping standards are maintained.


Physical Demands:

  • Standing โ€“ frequently required on concrete floor when repairing equipment
  • Walking โ€“ sometimes required during repairing or doing maintenance
  • Lifting โ€“ frequent lifting from floor to waist level
  • Reaching โ€“ frequently extending arms and hands in front of body and below the waist when repairing machines
  • Turning/twisting โ€“ required all the time to perform job functions
  • Bending/stooping โ€“ occasionally required

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:
