Responsibilities:

  • Home visits: Provide specialty and core drug infusions, including IVIG and Remicade.
  • Peripheral IV management: Perform IV placement and maintenance.
  • Central line maintenance: Manage central lines effectively.
  • Training: Educate patients on injections, line maintenance, and self-administered infusions.
  • Care coordination: Collaborate with physicians and pharmacies to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Plan of care: Develop and maintain comprehensive care plans.

Requirements:

  • Licensure: Must hold a current unrestricted RN license in Michigan and valid CPR.
  • Experience: Prior experience in home healthcare visits is required.
  • Skills: Experience with peripheral IV starts/maintenance, IV infusion therapy, injection and self-infusion training, phlebotomy for adult and pediatric patients, and CVAD knowledge is essential.
  • Transportation: Must have a reliable car and full coverage auto insurance.
  • Background: Clean background and Urine Drug Screen.
  • Compliance: Must adhere to regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and client confidentiality.
  • Technology: Recommended personal lap top or tablet for in home documentation through our online portal.
