System EngineerLocation: Offutt AFB, NEMinimum Clearance Required: Top Secret with SCI eligibility This position is contingent upon contract award.   This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance with SCI eligibility. U.S. Citizenship status is required, as this position necessitates an active U.S. Government Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens are not eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance. The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations, and illegal drug use. As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting system design, analysis, integration, and documentation across software, hardware, and architectural development efforts. You will help translate requirements into functional solutions, assess technical and operational impacts, and ensure quality, security, and compliance throughout the system lifecycle. Who You Are and What You Need:Experience supporting systems engineering activities, including collaboration with program offices, technical branches, and Chief Engineers.Knowledge of Agile DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud technologies, microservice architectures, and automated deployment/testing processes.Ability to perform system analysis, translate requirements into technical solutions, review engineering artifacts, and support UI design and interface requirements.Experience ensuring software and system quality, supporting STIG processes, integrating hardware/software components, and evaluating new technologies for security and compliance.Proficiency supporting application development, sustainment, testing, certification, integration, delivery, and production release processes.Ability to assess architectural changes, review documentation for compliance, and provide recommendations on processes, standards, and technical impacts.Strong skills in developing and maintaining program documentation and supporting program reviews, technical meetings, and enterprise-wide initiatives.Experience supporting security evaluations, developing security documentation, and assisting with cloud migration and maintenance.Ability to evaluate hardware/software quality and participate in technical reviews, TIMs, PMRs, SE&A IPTs, TRRs, and related forums. What You Will Do:Use approved processes (e.g., Systems Engineering Plan (SEP), IPT-tailored DevSecOps, etc.) and participate in and provide support (e.g., prepare briefing or written material) for program management and technical reviews.Support the Program Chief Engineer and engineering authorities as requested through the program office.Provide direct support to the Test, Integration, and Cybersecurity Branches, working with the PM, FM and Chief Engineer.
