Helm Point Solutions is a woman-owned cybersecurity and physical security firm supporting the nation’s most critical systems and infrastructure. We are seeking experienced Security Specialists and Access Control Specialists to assist on a new security-focused program. A cleared Access Control Specialist is essential to national security. They ensure only authorized, vetted personnel can enter secure areas or access sensitive information, serving as the first line of defense against insider threats and unauthorized disclosure. Their vigilance helps protect the intelligence community’s missions and the nation’s most critical assets.   If you or someone you know meets the criteria below and is interested, please contact us.
What you will be doing?
In this role, the Security Specialist will independently perform a wide range of functions and tasks which require proficiency in educating and implementing policy as it relates to security matters. Will collaborate with other members of the IC regarding security concerns, support internal and external customers related to clearance processing, perform administrative tasks using various tools and databases to prepare correspondence, reports, and deliverables. Must be able to create and present Industrial and Physical Security Program informational briefing and training sessions.
Candidates should have a strong compassion to provide customer service, be administratively organized and demonstrate excellent customer service skills both in person, email, and over the phone calls.
What will you need for this job?
  • Must possess a TS/SCI with Polygraph 
  • Willing to work in a high-level customer service-oriented environment.
  • Conduct Indoctrinations/Debriefs
  • Facilitate visitor clearance passing/receiving
  • Perform various physical and personnel security engagements
  • Assist with policy and directive creation and updates
  • Assist with security training and education
  • Understanding in the use of DISS and other security databases
  • Ability to fingerprint using customer provided technology.
  • Scanning packages and personnel to identify prohibited items
  • Must work effectively independently and with others.
Qualifications
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent 
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license or identification card
  • Be 18 years of age or older; 
  • Must be a U.S. or Naturalized citizen; and 
  • Have relevant security experience.
