Job description

As the Infrastructure Protection Security Associate Manager, you will serve as the leader for visitor management, storage operations, and dispatch operations - three critical functions that support site security, personnel accountability, crisis response, and business continuity. You will be responsible for ensuring contract guard force led operations are operationally effective, audit-ready, and capable of supporting the site's evolving requirements.

What You Will Be Doing


In this role, you will oversee the operational execution of compliance related activities performed by the contract guard force, maintain oversight of audit artifacts and corrective actions, drive process standardization, and identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness. You will ensure local procedures, training programs, operational metrics, and compliance activities remain aligned with regulatory requirements, company expectations, and site objectives.
**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives ("ATF") background check to obtain approval to be an "employee possessor" (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Site lead for contract guard force governance, ensuring operational expectations, compliance requirements, and performance standards are clearly defined and consistently executed
Maintain oversight of audit readiness activities associated with contract guard force operations, including required records and artifacts, documentation, inspections, and corrective actions
Lead process governance efforts across physical security operations, ensure procedures and local policies remain current, effective, and aligned with site requirements
Standardize operational practices across shifts
Create role and shift based training standards for supervisors and contract guard force
Support crisis management and business continuity efforts by ensuring guard force led operations maintain documented contingency procedures, trained personnel, and sustainable processes capable of supporting emergency and recovery operations
Serve as the designated deputy to the security manager, assuming manager authority and responsibility during periods of absence to ensure continuity
