THE WORK:
  • You'll demonstrate a high level of skill, knowledge and experience in overseeing complex projects and construction management for clients engaged in renewable construction and operations.
  • You'll oversee service delivery for a portfolio of projects across the clients' regions, inclusive of project scope, quality, schedule, and innovation for the most complex and high-risk projects.
  • You'll serve as the senior relationship manager with our client project sponsors and as the primary escalation point for client, I&CP and third-party service delivery partners (e.g., Engineering firms and Construction firms) on project issues.
  • You'll resolve issues and ensure effective communication across multiple functional lines including Engineering, Operations, Environmental, Work Management, Maintenance, Construction, Testing, Plant Accounting, Finance, Legal, Real Estate and Commercial Accounts, if required.
  • You'll lead project business cases through executive approval process with stakeholders and lead detailed project presentations delivered to client stakeholders.
  • You'll forecast and monitor budgets to ensure program and project costs are managed, including development of recovery plans to stay within budget limits.
  • You'll be a collaborative leader, capable of working effectively with their staff, senior I&CP leadership, our customers and their contractors.
  • You'll assist in identifying and hiring candidates, coaches, and leads team members to ensure that they can complete task plans, delivery plans, and communication plans. This role is the senior lead for our location.

HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field combined with a minimum 10 years of progressive project leadership experience
• MBA or advanced degrees preferred
• Ideal candidate has 10+ years of senior level leadership experience within the renewable, sector, with a demonstrated and established network of contacts
• 10-15 years of utility project leadership experience within the Solar and Wind sector is preferred
• Stronger candidates will have 15-20+ years of progressive leadership experience
• Experienced in establishing and managing relationships with senior client stakeholders
• Possess strong sales and client relationship development experience
• Must be able to coordinate work scope with multiple internal & external work groups or contractors
• Deep knowledge of OSHA and utility safety policies
• Excellent written and verbal communications and presentation skills
• Possess strong analytical ability
• Extensive knowledge of Solar and Wind Project Management and Construction Management concepts and principles
• Experienced administering and managing a portfolio of large dollar projects as well as hiring and assembling the technical and management resources to perform the work
• Successful applicants will also be able to demonstrate business acumen and communicate effectively across multiple levels, both internally and externally
