Utility & Infrastructure (Project Manager II)

Location: Dayton, OH (Service Building)
Work Model: Primarily inperson; occasional weekends/irregular hours as needed

About the Role

As a Capital Project Manager, you will independently manage largescale transmission, distribution, and infrastructure projects, owning results from planning through construction. This role sits at the core of our PMO and plays a critical role in delivering projects that expand capacity, enhance reliability, and support longterm system needs.

What You'll Do

  • Manage multimilliondollar capital projects ($5M-$50M+) with full accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and risk.

  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, schedules, cash flows, and risk registers.

  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to ensure construction milestones and outages are executed safely and on time.

  • Lead procurement planning, scope development, bid evaluations, and contract administration.

  • Track and forecast project costs; provide detailed monthly reporting for PMO and leadership.

  • Identify risks early and drive mitigation strategies.

  • Support mentoring and development of junior PMs.

  • Participate in PMO process improvement and lessonslearned initiatives.

What We're Looking For

  • 3-7 years of experience managing capital construction projects.

  • Utility, infrastructure, or data center experience preferred.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.

  • PMP preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with SAP and Oracle P6 strongly desired.
