Join our team and what we'll accomplish together

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Program Manager to play a pivotal role in the National Falcon Program Office.   The National Fibre Team is driving the future of Canadian connectivity. We're expanding TELUS' national footprint with a multi-billion dollar investment in crucial infrastructure, bringing our world-leading networks to new customers in Ontario and Quebec while deepening our roots in Alberta and B.C.

 
Our Fibre Process & Operations team, within the National Falcon PMO, drives operational programs and process development.   In this role, you will collaborate across teams, with key internal and external stakeholders, to execute on critical path processes and operational activities that fuel our growth. Your talents will contribute to multiple streams of work including:

  • Program Governance - driving program oversight and accountability
  • Planning & Performance - ensuring end to end coordination & prioritization across stakeholder teams 
  • Processes & Enablement - establishing cross functional processes, entity activations and critical path readiness & support
  • Special Projects & Long Term Programs - igniting short term projects and building long term programs to support the national build and drive RGU's and customer delight
     

What you'll do

 
You will lead high-impact programs that drive strategic priorities across the Fibre (Falcon) program nationwide. This means:

  • Strategic Program Leadership - You'll drive complex, cross-functional programs - managing scope, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations while keeping multiple initiatives moving forward simultaneously.
  • Stakeholder Partnership - You'll collaborate across the organization to shape program strategy, provide decision-support, and ensure alignment on priorities that impact our multi-billion dollar investment.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration - You'll be the connective tissue internally across key TELUS teams and externally with our entity stakeholders, building relationships, facilitating alignment, and ensuring seamless communication on mission-critical initiatives.
  • Strategic Communication - You'll translate complex program updates into compelling narratives for diverse audiences, from executive steering committees to operational teams, driving actions and outcomes.
  • Problem-Solving & Innovation - You'll diagnose root causes, design creative solutions, rally stakeholders, and drive execution to keep programs on track.
     

Advanced knowledge of English is required because you will most of the time interact in English with external parties (clients, suppliers, candidates, external partners, etc.); interact in English with internal parties (colleagues, internal partners, stakeholders, etc.); and work with IT tools whose interface is only accessible in English as part of this position's main responsibilities given its national scope.

Great-to-haves 

  • 3-5 years experience with large-scale transformation/change management initiatives
  • 3-5 years experience in a PMO or strategic roles supporting senior leaders
  • Experience managing telecommunications infrastructure or Fibre build programs
  • Knowledge of Canadian telecommunications market and regulatory environment 
  • Bilingual proficiency (English/French) is an asset for this role
