Job description

Job Summary:

NSI-MI Technologies, the world leader in microwave test and measurement systems, is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead the execution of antenna test and measurement systems. The role requires oversight of large, complex, and multi-disciplinary engineering projects involving RF, mechanical, electrical, software, and systems integration elements. The Program Manager will ensure successful delivery in accordance with technical, financial, and schedule objectives, while serving as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex engineering commercial Far Field projects (typically $500K-$15M) from contract award through final acceptance.
  • Lead cross-functional engineering teams across design, manufacturing, integration, and installation.
  • Ensure adherence to programmatic principles including cost, schedule, scope, risk, and quality management.
  • Drive effective use of earned value management, risk registers, milestone tracking tools and regular internal reviews.
  • Prepare and present technical and financial status reports to internal management and customers.
  • Coordinate program reviews, program kickoff meetings, and design reviews with customer and internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in capture and proposal efforts, including win strategy development, technical solution definition, and cost estimating.
  • Ensure timely and accurate customer communication, change management, and issue resolution.
  • Serve as the face of NSI-MI for assigned customers and cultivate long-term relationships that support follow-on opportunities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in either Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of management experience, OR Master's Degree with 4+ years of management experience
  • Minimum 8 years of program/project management experience, including oversight of complex, cross-disciplinary engineering programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple programs simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles, processes, and tools.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to executive-level stakeholders and customers.
  • Familiarity with program financials, labor costing, and forecasting.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a solution-oriented mindset.
  • Due to the nature of NSI-MI Technologies' programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
  • This position may require occasional domestic and international travel, approximately 10%..

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP certification or equivalent (required to be obtained within 6 months of start).
  • Experience in RF measurement systems, antenna testing, or precision motion control systems.
  • Familiarity with developing or managing anechoic chambers and related infrastructure.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and third-party vendors.
  • Familiarity with DoD procurement processes, commercial contracting models, and international customers.
